Comp Wars: Return of the Jedi... er, Scanner

><! After 11 months... I FINALLY fixed the scanner. oo; It had been hovering in bits and pieces on my computer, but after I finally deleted those pieces, as well as the drivers, I was able to re-download the drivers, install them, then found Scansoft: Paperport 9.0 and installed that... so now, my scanner is back, better, and faster than ever! >^^<

So now, I will try to bombard this place with my art once more... now that I've figured out a nice little direction thingy for my scanner, which I typed up myself!:

Improper way to unhook the scanner when done with it:
-Pull the USB cord out of the USB port and walk away.

PROPER way to unhook the scanner when done with it:
-Close all programs using the scanner
-Right-click scanner icon in system tray and select 'close'
-Pull USB cord out of the USB port and walk away

If this is not followed, the system will not recognize the scanner has been plugged in next time you plug it in/will not be happy that you unplugged it while you're still 'using' it.

About the ways to unhook the scanner...
